Standing next to a former vicarage, just beyond the village of Alderholt, The Bothy has been tastefully converted from a former stable to provide accommodation to a high specification on two floors.

Alderholt is right on the borders of Hampshire and Dorset, and The Bothy is ideally located, being about 10 minutes' drive from the New Forest National Park's western perimeter and only half an hour's drive from Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch on the South Dorset coast. Alderholt falls within the Cranborne Chase "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" and the immediate surrounding countryside to the north and west is well worth exploring - take a walk on nearby Martin Down (rare flora and fauna), visit Rockbourne Roman Villa and the stately homes and gardens of Breamore House and Cranborne Manor. Discover the city of Salisbury with its ancient market place and magnificent 13th century cathedral.

Standing to one side of an impressive Georgian vicarage and with an outlook over attractively landscaped, raised, flower and vegetable beds, The Bothy provides very spacious, centrally heated, accommodation for two people. It has its own, quite private, brick and stone paved garden area with barbecue and ample, secure parking within gated grounds.

Entrance into a large open plan living room with oak flooring and comprising a sitting area with inglenook style fireplace (decorative feature only for 2010), a dining area and a fitted kitchen. Separate downstairs wc. Solid oak stairs lead to a large double bedroom and ensuite bathroom/wc with hand held shower attachment to the bath and heated towel rail.
