Attractions for the visitor include Petworth House (important paintings), Goodwood House and Race Course - 12 miles, Arundel Castle - 12 miles, theatres and cathedrals at Chichester (12 miles) and Guildford (19 miles), local golf courses, polo at Midhurst (9 miles), ballooning, riding and fishing locally by arrangement. South coast beaches approximately 15 miles.
