This idyllic, Grade II listed, stone & thatch dwelling is typical of the many cottages which line the main street of this well kept country village.

Wroxton could not be more conveniently placed for exploring this much admired part of central England. It is situated on the northern edge of the Cotswolds, 3 miles from Banbury, within easy driving distance of both Oxford and Stratford-upon-Avon and approx 1½ hour's drive from London. There are many pretty Cotswold villages to visit in the surrounding area as well as two of England's foremost historic buildings, Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace.

The current owners of Spring Cottage have devoted much time and effort into re-establishing its original character. Charmingly situated next to the village duck pond, it is also a stone's throw from a thatched village pub and from the beautifully landscaped gardens and lakes of Wroxton Abbey (College), which offer lovely walks through the grounds. Keen cyclists are also welcome at this cottage - bike storage available.

Comments from previous visitors

"The cottage was located in a lovely village and it was a great place to settle into for our short break. Just a short walk from the cottage was The White Horse Inn that had great food. We loved the thatched roof on the cottage. It was very quiet at night and the beds were comfortable." Mr & Mrs Trox, March 2011.

"The cottage is so superbly appointed, there was really nothing missing at all. Add to that a lovely welcome, and so much information on the area and what to see and do, it all made a huge difference to our holiday. It felt like staying at a friend’s house. Spring Cottage was absolutely beautiful, in a village that has to be one of the best kept secrets in the country!" Catherine Dolton, July 2011.
