This delightful cottage, converted from the granary next to an ancient farmhouse, is situated in one of the most beautiful and peaceful settings in the West Country. In a bowl of tree-clad hills at the end of a remote country lane with a stream running through the valley, it is a true 'hideaway' and a wonderful place to relax and unwind.

There is an abundance of interest for the country-lover here. Much of the surrounding land belongs to the farm (sheep, cattle and hill ponies) and contains a wide variety of wildlife including badgers and red deer. Maps and records of flora and birds are available to interested visitors and the owner can arrange guided farm walks. The farm also has a restored mill pond. Riding, trout fishing, fossil hunting and mountain biking can also be enjoyed locally.

Despite its apparently remote location, The Granary is within easy driving distance of many places of interest, including National Trust properties, castles and the North Somerset coastline. There are wonderful views to the sea from the top of the farm with walks from the cottage onto The Quantock Ridge (a Site of Special Scientific Interest), which stretches 12 miles to the coast. Also easy access onto The Coleridge Way, which runs from The Quantocks to Porlock on Exmoor.

The Granary is separated from the listed, Elizabethan farmhouse by a cobbled, enclosed yard. It is very comfortable with all the rooms enjoying glorious views.
