This 1930’s chalet bungalow enjoys an enviable location, affording immediate access up onto the sand dunes in front of the property and from there onto the long sandy beach at Greatstone-on-Sea. Fully modernised and refurbished by its current owners, the house enjoys superb views out to sea from the upstairs open plan living room and decking.
This part of the Kent coastline coastline stretches from Dungeness (lighthouse, RSPB sanctuary and fishing) to Hythe and Folkestone further north. The sea retreats for about a mile here at low tide making it ideal for swimming and sand yachting. Just inland, The Hythe and Dymchurch steam railway (great for an excursion) follows this same bit of the coast. The hinterland is made up of the large expanses of Romney and Walland Marsh, their flat terrain making them ideal for cycling using the National Cycle Network.
Sea Breeze is just half an hour’s drive from Ashford International Station and the Channel Tunnel, if you fancy a day trip to France, and only about 15 minutes from Lydd Airport (day trips to Le Touquet). The nearby ancient Cinque Ports of Rye and Winchelsea and Hastings (Old Town) are well worth a visit as are the historic castles and gardens, which abound in this part of Kent and East Sussex. For keen golfers there are several good courses close by.
Sea Breeze has its three bedrooms, bathrooms and extra sitting room at ground floor level and its attractive open plan living area on the first floor, thus maximising the sea views.

Ground floor entrance hallway. 3 bedrooms – 1 double and 2 twins, one with sliding doors out to the garden. Shower room/wc. Bathroom/wc. Carpeted stairs, with stair gate at the top, lead directly into an open living room comprising a fully fitted kitchen, dining and sitting areas, from which sliding patio doors open out onto the decking.
The garden is at the rear of the house, fenced on two sides and merging into the sand dunes immediately beyond it.
