Fishing boats hauled up on Beer's shingle beach

Conveniently located in a quiet road off the main shopping street of this popular fishing village and only 250 metres from the sea, this first floor apartment has been completely refurbished to a very high standard by its owners, providing a bright and inviting space. The village's considerable amenities are only minutes away on foot: shops, pubs, restaurants, a beautiful harbour and shingle beach (fishing and boat hire available), and wonderful coastal walks along the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site. There is even an annual regatta held in August, a major event in Beer's calendar.

The whole surrounding area, too, is full of interest. The coastal towns of Sidmouth and Lyme Regis are a short distance away; and the cathedral city of Exeter, and Dorset’s county town, Dorchester, are an easy drive. The beautiful hinterland of both Devon and Dorset (including the famous Hardy country) contain many hidden gems, complementing the superb coastal scenery.

The owners have lavished much care and attention on Midships and the result is light, very comfortable, and surprisingly spacious – and ideally placed for enjoying the many attractions of Beer and the whole of this lovely area.

Shared entrance from quiet side-street to lobby. One flight of stairs leads up to the apartment. Entrance into small hallway and door to light and well-furnished sitting room. Separate dining area. Very well-equipped, fitted kitchen. Passage beyond lobby to two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Separate light bathroom/wc with electric shower over bath.
