Situated in a quiet country lane on the western fringes of The Forest of Dean, with easy access to the River Wye (3 miles), this is a very desirable, detached, stone cottage with good views and particularly practical, spacious, living accommodation. The design and lay out of Little Millend sets it apart from other cottages. Being on a sloping site, the living space is arranged on three levels with the bedroom and bathroom areas above and below the main communal living room. The accommodation is very versatile and offers a relaxing family environment.

The surrounding countryside has to rate among the finest in central England; The Forest of Dean offers superb walking, cycling and riding while the Wye Valley is renowned for its dramatic gorges and view points (Symonds Yat Rock) and offers visitors a wide range of outdoor activities, which include walking (Offa's Dyke), salmon fishing, caving and canoeing. There is easy access into Wales and the Brecon Beacons, to the Cotswolds, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and the Malvern Hills.

Perfect house in a perfect location

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was like home from home! Everything we could possibly want or need was there. The bottle of wine and flowers on arrival were a welcome sight. We had two families staying on the house and there was ample room for everyone. Everywhere we visited was only a short drive away which was perfect. Would definitely recommend for people looking for a relaxing break away.

Great place to stay in Forest of Dean

First time we've stayed in a holiday cottage rather than cabin in the Forest area and there's no going back. Lovely and very spacious accommodation all finished to a high specification and totally clean. It's entirely as good as the pictures suggest.
