| This is an enchanting 'bolt hole' which comprises the first floor of an impressive, oak timber clad barn in the garden of an idyllic thatched cottage, a quarter of a mile down a private 'no through' lane. Imaginatively planned, and decorated with enormous taste and attention to detail, it is also extremely well equipped given the overall size of the accommodation. In addition visitors have their own private, covered car space below the accommodation.
The location provides an ideal touring base, being on the edge of the very pretty village of Rockbourne with its stream flowing past cottages of brick, cob, and thatch, its excellent thatched pub 'The Rose and Thistle' and its Roman Villa. Within 5 to 10 minutes' drive are the forest glades and heathland of The New Forest where ponies, cattle, pigs and donkeys are free to graze. Also closeby is Breamore House, an interesting Elizabethan Manor House, while to the north, the cathedral city of Salisbury with its many historic buildings, open air market, shops, pubs and restaurants, is about 10 miles.
The Garden Loft is approached through an attractive garden archway and up solid oak wooden steps.
