Figtree Cottage

Set on a small country estate in the grounds of an ancient mill house, Fig Tree Cottage is one of three cottages which attain heights that few other holiday cottages can surpass. Add to this floodlit tennis, and the beautiful surrounding countryside, and you have a unique holiday opportunity. It is adjacent to Walnut Tree Cottage and has been reconstructed from a Victorian outbuilding to form a smaller cottage, which is designed for couples or two single people. The accommodation also meets the requirements of the National Accessible Scheme (category 2) and, for carers looking after a single disabled person, there is an additional sofa bed in the sitting room. In 1999, the three cottages were winners of the South East England Tourist Board's Self-Catering Holiday of the Year award and in 2002 won a silver award in the English Tourist Board's England for Excellence Self-Catering Holiday of the Year. All three cottages have the top English Tourism Council 5 star rating.

The cottages are 3 miles from Tonbridge and a 40 minute train journey from London. Medieval castles, stately homes and gardens such as Hever, Leeds, Bodiam, Chartwell and Sissinghurst are abundant in this area and the East Sussex coastline is a 30 mile drive.
