Field House lies in spacious gardens bordering the Grand Union Canal in a quiet, attractive village on the edge of the Chilterns, mid way between Aylesbury and Tring. From this pleasant, rural location there is easy access to London, by car (via A 41) or by train (40 mins Tring-Euston), to Heathrow Airport, Oxford and to many sites of including Windsor Castle, Legoland, Luton Hoo, Waddesdon Manor (N.T.), Woburn Abbey, Whipsnade Zoo, and Tring's Zoological Museum. If you tire of sightseeing, you can explore the Chilterns on foot from the ancient Ridgeway or take a boat trip on the canal from nearby Pitstone Wharf. You can try your hand at coarse fishing (available locally) or simply watch the passing canal boats from Field House's delightful garden.

Built in 1965 to a Swedish design, Field House is thoughtfully planned, attractively furnished and extremely well equipped.
