| Situated on top of a hill just outside the village of Ludgvan, mid-way between St Ives and Penzance and in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, St. Michael's is in a very peaceful location and enjoys superb views to the sea encompassing the whole of Mount's bay, with the Mount itself being framed in the middle. The location could hardly be bettered for exploring this dramatic part of Cornwall's coast, with safe sandy beaches a few minutes' drive away; and an almost endless list of interesting places to visit, such as Land's end; St Ives (Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth's house etc.) and St. Michael's Mount (NT). There are also numerous activities available locally - golf, riding, sailing, surfing, kite boarding and cycling among others.
The Croft is a self-contained wing to the main granite farmhouse at St Michael's, dating back to the 1800's. Refurbished to a high standard by its owner, it offers deceptively spacious accommodation for a couple. It is available for booking either on its own or as additional accommodation to the main house (H626) when a larger group of up to 12 guests is being accommodated.
St Michael's can also be booked in combination with H622, The Little Barn and/or H623, The Cabin, which are a stone's throw away on the other side of the lane.
