The ancient harbour of Boscastle and the dramatic cliff top ruins of Tintagel Castle are also within easy reach.
This part of Cornwall is renowned for its rugged coastline, and offers wonderful cliff top walks along the South West Coast Path between Boscastle and Crackington Haven and beyond. There are many picturesque fishing harbours and sandy beaches, which are ideal for swimming, sailing, surfing. The historic market town of Launceston is 12 miles away, Bodmin Moor is close by and the Tamar Valley and Dartmoor are an easy drive. Visit, too, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, and Lanhydrock (NT).
Cobble Cottage has been tastefully refurbished to a high standard, with much care and attention taken to preserve its original features while providing all modern comforts. The result is a delightfully cosy 'home from home', equally welcoming at any time of the year. There is a pleasant sunny patio area immediately outside the front door and a small, separate garden, accessed from the parking area, where visitors can enjoy a peaceful barbecue.

"A very comfortable stay at Cobble Cottage; most definitely a “home from home” with everything we needed to enjoy our time here with two young boys. Crackington Haven beach provides a perfect base for energetic or lazy days – we just wish we had booked two weeks." Mr M Newsome and family, July 2011.
“Cobble Cottage is so thoughtfully furnished and kitted out – a real home from home! Peta is the icing on the cake – her warm welcome and thoughtful tips on where to stay (and generous egg delivery) really set us off on a happy holiday. Next door there is even a fabulous farm shop."
