Situated in a quiet hamlet on the Lelant Downs above St Ives, these two 200 year old, stone barns enjoy far reaching views to Mounts Bay and towards Newquay and offer an ideal base for exploring the Lands End and Lizard peninsulas, St Michaels Mount (N.T.) and the creeks and inlets of the Falmouth & Helford River. They are only 4 1/2 miles from St. Ives, 5 1/2 from Penzance and 3 1/2 miles from Hayle.

The narrow country lanes around Brunnion are still bordered by traditional Cornish stone hedges, rich in wild flowers in spring and early summer. For bird watchers The Saltings and Hayle Estuary offer interesting venues.

Extra activities to enjoy
There is a whole range of different activities to enjoy while at Brunnion Barns. Visitors can benefit from free temporary membership at the leisure centre in The Garrack Hotel, St.Ives, with its heated swimming poool, whirlpool spa, sauna and exercise equipment. (There is a small charge for using each facility - contact Reservations for details). If you are interested in scuba diving, pottery or painting courses, fishing or horse riding and wish to pre-book, just let the owners know well in advance of your arrival and they will do their best to make the necessary arrangements.

This side of the property is located on two floors and benefits from a large, very light sitting room upstairs with bay window, thus maximising the far reaching views across the fields towards both North & South Cornish coastlines.

Ground floor: Entrance hallway. Fitted kitchen extending into a conservatory breakfast/dining area with window seats and access to the rear garden. Double bedroom. Twin bedroom. Shower room/w.c. First floor: very large sitting room with baby grand piano (decorative feature only)and open fireplace.

Shared cottage garden and small patio area in front of the house and a sheltered rear garden with barbecue. Field access available for ball games & pet exercise.
