Forming part of a 1930’s bungalow, which has been extensively refurbished by its owner, this fully self-contained and very comfortable accommodation is situated in a residential area, just a few minutes’ walk from Friars Cliff beach on the Dorset coast.

Friars Cliff is one of a number of predominantly sandy beaches, which stretch for 4 miles across Christchurch Bay. This most attractive part of the Dorset coastline with its naturally formed harbours and sand banks can be explored on foot by following the coastal path passing through Highcliffe Castle (Grade I listed mansion) to Mudeford or by using the local ferries from Mudeford and Christchurch Quays. The natural harbours and beaches also make this part of the coast ideal for watersports – sailing, windsurfing and bodyboarding. Some 10/15 minutes’ west of Friars Cliff are Bournemouth with its extensive shopping and leisure facilities and Poole with its huge natural harbour. The Isle of Purbeck and the whole of the Dorset World Heritage Jurassic coastline stretch westwards beyond that. Easily accessible on the Hampshire coast are Keyhaven (sailing, birdwatching and Henry VIII’s Hurst Castle) and Lymington (large yachting marina and ferries to The Isle of Wight). Inland from here is The New Forest National Park, great for picnics, walking, cycling and riding.

Beachside Annexe has its own separate entrance at the side of the property. It provides a comfortable, relaxing base for two people with a good range of amenities provided.

Very spacious and light sitting room, fully glazed at one end with access out to the garden. Carpeted stairs to the 1st floor. Double bedroom under the eaves with small, ensuite shower room/wc (N.B low ceiling).

Enclosed, sheltered garden incorporating paved and lawned areas. Barbecue.
