| This 1930's house enjoys an enviable location, being in a quiet street overlooking Henrietta Park with its attractively planted parterres and specimen trees, yet just a few minutes' walk from Pulteney Bridge and all the amenities and attractions of Bath city centre. It also offers ample driveway parking, a rarity these days in a busy city. Bath of course is renowned world-wide for its rich heritage, which dates back to Celtic & Roman times when its natural hot springs first lured settlers. As well as visiting the original Roman Baths you can now "de-stress" by bathing at the new Thermae Bath Spa complex, which opened in 2006. Bath also boasts Britain's finest Georgian architecture and offers an abundance of museums and galleries with exhibitions, music and art festivals taking place throughout the year. The city has a wide range of restaurants, pubs and bistros and is a shopper's paradise with an unusually wide choice of smaller, specialists shops; the annual Christmas Market, which is set up every year close to Bath's medieval abbey is an event not to be missed.
